On February 20, 2021, the first six monopiles for the 78MW Trà Vinh and Hiep Thanh offshore wind farms in Vietnam were successfully loaded and shipped from the Zhongshan Base. Jointly manufactured by Ziking and Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., these monopiles represent the base's first international wind turbine foundation contract, and the shipment marks a major milestone in the Vietnamese offshore wind farm project contracted by Ziking and a solid step toward Ziking’s global expansion.

Located in Trà Vinh Province, Vietnam, the project involves supplying 30 monopile foundations for the Trà Vinh and Hiep Thanh wind farms, representing Ziking's inaugural international monopile contract. Manufactured in strict compliance with European standards under Bureau Veritas (BV) supervision, the monopiles demanded rigorous technical execution. Upon securing the contract, Ziking prioritized resource allocation, forming a high-caliber management and production team to refine processes and streamline scheduling. Notably, over 100 frontline workers and the Zhongshan Base management voluntarily gave up their Chinese New Year holiday break to ensure production deadlines were met. The delivered monopiles gained approval from EPC contractor PowerChina Huadong Engineering Corporation Limited and BV, providing valuable benchmarks for subsequent production phases and future international contracts.
Remaining committed to its strategy of "Rooted in Marine Engineering, Focused on Offshore Wind Energy", Ziking gives full play to its robust marine engineering capabilities to deepen collaborations with partners like Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard Heavy Industry. By strengthening its domestic market presence while pursuing global opportunities, Ziking aims to achieve breakthroughs in international wind energy markets and foster a "dual-circulation" growth model.
